By the Border

Live in the moment and strip your fear away about crossing the border.
Ensenada and Valle de Guadalupe is in it's peak moments with great local wine and food scene.
I had the great pleasure of exploring the scene on a three day weekend and although I didn't quite prepare for the weather, I still had an amazing time.

First things first, let me tell you that driving on multiple dirt roads was a bit insane while we tried to figure out which dirt road to exit or enter, but our group wasn't worried. I mean 3 Spanish speaking people along with my TMobile GPS got us to our destinations. After all, you gotta have a little bit of an adventure side to go into unknown parts because they lead you to hidden gems like Hotel Boutique.

The country life is peaceful and beautiful at Valle de Guadalupe.
And it only made me realize, that living life in the moment is perfect dose of happiness.
Don't count the years- count the memories...

Your probably thinking at this point, how in the world did you get there in the first place? Well, we happen to join my husband's good friend and wife to celebrate his birthday and explore the wineries in El Valle de Guadalupe together for three days. So, join me tonight to explore Fuego's Restaurant delightful views and delicious food.

Hotel Boutique

Planning for a romantic weekend getaway?
Let me tell you about a hidden hacienda known as the hotel del valle guadalupe.
The hotel is a dream that begins with the purchase of a plot, that never really imagined to develop
a hotel, but that's the magic of Valle de Guadalupe, a land full of fruits and minerals that produce life Today the hotel offers great hospitality with 21 rooms; restaurant-bar in the country which offers cuisine with their very own harvested garden of 100 % organic products (hotelboutique) and the cutest small goat farm.

The hacienda has beautiful views at every angle and the ambiance is peaceful and soothing.
But as with all matters of the heart, there's no need to overthink this.
If you have a Summer weekend available I recommend booking your next getaway.
Trust me, once you plan it, you will be thankful later.

Bienvenidos a Hotel Boutique!

This past weekend I got to attend the Tacotopia event at Golden Hill Park in Sand Diego.
Tacotopia?! Ha...I don't undertand...well chikas it's
an event where the best tacqueria's and taco shops in San Diego come out
to give you a signature taste of their own unique taco version.

I mean talk about the jack pot of taco heaven. There was literally taco vendors everywhere and I din't know where to start, but I found myself slowly creeping up to the Got Milk? stand.
"Spicy Loves Milk" incorporated a healthier and spicier taco with milk pairing. It may sound weird at first,  but once you a sample the blazing pork belly blossom with a shot of milk. It made a whole lot of sense as to what chef Michael Ruffner wanted you to experience.

He created a taco recipe that is true to their city's culture, personality and taste, while showcasing milk's versatility and unique ability to complement exciting spicy flavors and tone down the heat. "This food pairing
couldn't have been more perfect," said Steve James.

Pearls of Wisdom

You learn so much from your journey so far,
and you have often found yourself behind the scenes,
but now its' time to wear your pearls and feel the spotlight.

I am craving change in my life and am looking forward to
what Summer has in store for me. I can feel the warmth of my skin rise
to maintain the comfortable life I have now, but I want more.

And like so many things in a woman's life we start
gather each pearl to add to the strand and form
a beautiful necklace piece that will resemble what our accomplishments
should look like.

Whatever the dream in life, just remember,
the sky is the limit, so do your best to stay ready and always wear a strand of pearls
to look sharp because there is so much to look forward to.

The Rising Sun

Summer Fragrances are often
compared to Summer love because it's a social
phenomenon that occurs when the sunlit
is ready for you to glow.

The issey miyake parfums have reinvented themselves every Summer in a string of creative collaborations. This year the tradition continues, with young English artist Michelle McKinney invited to translate Issey Miyake's Summer Fragrances into colours. She weaves a delicate, poetic mood around their luminous, fruity freshness (issey miyake).

The journey of issey miyake parfums scent will take to discover the aureole rising of the sun
by wearing just a touch of the parfum. And personally, I can't wait to pack the bottle in my suitcase
for a Summer gate away to Cancun, Mexico. The scent is a perfect dose of
fresh sparkling flowers for those long, warm sunny days in Mexico.

Feeling Floral

We all know Mother's Day is just around the
corner. And I've been thinking lately what would
be a simple classy look for a Sunday Brunch.
Any ideas?! Well here's one, why not mix prints together.

Such as a striped pattern turtle Neck (or shirt) with a floral bottom skirt.
These two simple pieces can be mixed and match with any color literally.
Plus the flowers on a skirt will make your mom smile, but if you really want to make your "mama" smile from ear to ear, buy her a nice bouquet of real flowers and tell her how much you "love her".

The outfit is a perfect combination
for formal occasions and yet very wearable again casually with some sandals.
