Radiant skin this Summer

Show off a radiant skin this Summer with these five tips from Kika Rocha.

1. Moisturize. Moisturize the skin as much as possible during this season using light creams and masks. I love masks made from natural ingredients, one of my favorites is the hydrating coconut gel mask . This mask is a skin restorer and its regular and continuous use softens and moisturizes the skin.

2. Sun protection. Even if this seems illogical you don’t know how many women I've met who do not use sunscreen in the summer. Now more than ever you need an increased sun protection factor. My recommendation, choose it according to your skin type and use at least 25 SPF daily. If you go to the water try to apply it every two hours.

The most recent SPF product I love has been the conffianz moisturizer, I apply this product every morning to keep my skin healthy and young. It also helps my make up look smooth and fresh.

3. Protected lips. Use a natural balm that contains sunscreen to prevent from sunburn and at the same time keep them moisturized. The cocoa butter is super effective!

Ladies, as much as we love wearing lipstick, lip gloss or lip balm, always remember to apply a layer of natural balm to your lips. My favorite go to product chapstick seasonal flavors mango sunrise it helps keep my lips nice and hydrated.

4. Nutrition. Eat lots of fruits, vegetables and foods rich in vitamins A, C and E. I recommend daily consumption of citrus fruits like oranges, kiwi and melon. And do not forget guava, this fruits has six times more vitamin C than a common orange. And of course , drink plenty of water .

Kika it definitely right about eating more fruits and vegetables, so one of my favorite snacks after a long morning run is a fresh toasted bagel topped with light whipped cream along with sliced organic tomatoes with a little bit of pepper. I also like to include fruit such as strawberries and blueberries because they are full of antioxidants. These two fruits alone help maintain healthy eyes, skin, keep cholesterol down and contribute to heart health.

5. Be careful with the perfumes! Many fragrances are made from alcohol and the combination of this component with the sun is not favorable because t can stain your skin. Search perfume without alcohol and lighter with floral aromas.

I couldn't agree more, strong perfumes in the Summer can be too much, so use a perfume that are light in the scent, but that still make you smell beautiful. The Issey Miyake D'Issey Pure perfume will make your Summer dreams delightful since the inspiration comes from water. Pure water that creates moments suspended in time and timeless moments serenity and fulfillment (L'EAU D'SSEY).
