1960's Coat

Before the end of the year, make sure to refresh your wardrobe with a great 1960's vintage coat.
I happen to come across one while shopping at H&M's clearance section and although it's not an original vintage piece, the garment still resembles the era. I remember after I spotted the coat, I thought of the TV series Mad Men and how well dressed the characters where all the time. So, I knew right away
I wanted to own a piece that took be back to that era, but also to give me a great modern fashion look.

Here's an everyday statement look you can wear while hanging out with friends.

2 in 1 Holiday Look

You could very well wear the same red and white colors this season, but I decided to change it up and give you ladies an alternative dark tone festive look. To provide you with some holiday outfit inspiration, I decided to style a chic black and white dress two different ways. Both looks are perfect for a Christmas gathering and be mindful that it's sweater season, so layer it up!

Luxury Farms

This past Sunday, I had the opportunity to attend a complimentary event with Santa at Luxury Farms.
The store location is in Coronado Island and they carry everything from kitchen essentials, gourmet food, home + garden items and baskets. Besides all the wonderful home items, I had an opportunity to learn how to make gift bows to wrap present for the holidays. So of course,  I chose to practice on two easy items such as the savon de marseille handcrafted soaps from France.

After seeing how good my bows came out, I decided to purchase the items, so I can give the soaps away as a present for the holidays. It's funny how little things work out.

Happy Shopping!

Checkered Season

Flannel shirts are easy to wear, pair it with an all white long sleeve top, skinny black jeans and booties
and your ready for a day outdoors. The red checkered shirt has been around since the all  mighty lumberjack and it's still classic. Plus, the red check print makes it the best color to wear during the holiday season.

To heighten your look try wearing a nice brown check print scarf, this adds a touch of detail.

Remember to try and keep colors subtle as normal.

Hair Youth Revival

Hola Chicas! This month, I decided to give my hair a little gift by using the
Peter Lamas youth revival hair treatment because my hair was looking
dry and damaged. And if your hair is curly like mine, many of us reduce washing our hair on
a daily basis to avoid stripping our hair from the natural essential oils, but even that doesn't cut it.

So this Saturday, I spent a little time in the shower applying the 5 oil hair treatment mask to my damp hair and massaging the product through my curls. After 3 minutes, I rinsed with water and got rid off the knots with a wide comb. Although my hair was still damped,I let it air dry, so I can style it with a Conair curling iron the next day.

The next morning it was time to style, but before applying the curling iron to my hair, remember ladies add a styling heat protectant to protect your hair from the heat. After, grab your hair in small sections and only curl half way and repeat.
